I found them via Google after looking for an inexpensive, easy solution for hosting a blogger/blogspot blog on a remote server via blogger's remote ftp publishing feature.
- Response to pre-sales questions:
- Via email, in minutes. No auto-responder robot-speak, a live human got back to me and answered my question, didn't push for the sale.
- Signup Process:
- Pretty straight forward with a number of billing options, including Paypal.
- Billing Support:
- Very fast. My account got flagged as "high risk" because the web proxy I was using was a country mismatch for my address, another quick email response from support, got it straightened out.
- Provisioning Speed:
- The sign-up process says the website will be provisioned within 24 hours. Mine was done in about an hour.
- Interface
- Looks like cpanel. Pretty easy to follow even though I've never really used it before.
- Feature Set
- All the standards, pretty comprehensive for a $7/month hosting account: PHP, MySQL, private CGI scripts, subdomain support, email boxes, email forwarding, etc.
- DNS Host Compatibility:
- Their provisioning procedure sends out emails describing everything you'll need to know and the IP address is clearly marked in the email, they also send a link that will let you see your website before you change your DNS address or nameservers. You can either delegate to their nameservers or use your existing DNS host to point at the IP they send you.
- Ease of cancellation:
- I used a Paypal subscription so if I ever want to cancel it will be a simple matter of cancelling my subscription from within my paypal account.
- Disclosure:
- We joined their affiliate program and are using affiliate links to them.
