I started off with them about 4 years ago when I wanted to setup a cheap nameserver for an RBL separate from my production nameservers.

You don't have access to phone support with these guys, they are a division of Infolink.com and I think only InfoLink has phone support, all the serverpronto customers have to use the web interface for support (modernbill) which got dicey once when it was down too.

As a domain registrar and DNS host we are often asked about web hosting and we've never been in that business.

We've decided to start a modest web host directory here, but contrast with most web host directories, which are really just keyword dense affiliate sites stuffed with marketing collateral from the webhosting companies themselves, we are only going to list companies here whom we have direct, first hand experience with and we're going to use our own words.
